today to bid tearful farewell to the charismatic former Andhra
Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who died in a
helicopter crash over Nallamala forest area in Kurnool district
on Wednesday.

rejects Pak claim on dossier New Delhi, September 4
India today chided Pakistan for
describing its latest dossier on the Mumbai attacks as a rehash of
information which was provided to Islamabad in previous dossiers.
Official sources said Pakistan had already admitted that the 26/11

plane catches fire, passengers safe Mumbai, September 4
Two hundred and thirteen
passengers and crew on board Air India flight AI-829 from Mumbai
to Riyadh had a miraculous escape after a fire broke out in the
engine below the left wing shortly before the take off. As the
Boeing 747-437, named Konark, was being pushed back in
preparation for a take off at around 10.50 am a passenger on
board noticed sparks coming out of an engine and raised an
alarm.

For a state that has gained the
dubious distinction of leading the country in female foeticide, issues
