Singh has politely rejected China’s objection to Dalai
Lama’s proposed visit to Arunachal Pradesh in November while
making it clear that the Tibetan spiritual leader was not
allowed to indulge in political activities on the Indian soil.

Former Pakistan cricket captain
Wasim Akram’s wife Huma, who was suffering from a “mysterious”
fever, died of cardiac arrest at a hospital here today. Huma (42), who
breathed her last at Apollo Hospitals, is survived by Akram and two
sons.
