Recently there was a report in newspapers that at least 11 judges are working in the same court as their kith and kin. I find nothing bad in it in today’s context. Sukhbir Badal helps his father Punjab Chief minister Prakash Singh Badal as his Deputy Chief minister. Rakesh Roshan is always happy to take his son Hrithik as a hero in his home production. What’s wrong if a judge, a lawyer and even the accused in the same case or court are related? Because, if they are related there is a possibility of faster justice. I asked a professor in the department of law, “What is the difference between a good lawyer and a great lawyer?’ He replied, “A good lawyer knows the law and a great lawyer knows the judge.”
