Rajapaksa to cheer Lanka at Wankhede
President Mahinda Rajapaksa will lead the country in cheering on the Sri Lankan cricket team when it takes on India in the final of the World Cup at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. While the President will be present in person there to watch the match, millions of Sri Lankans will be glued to their televisions back home to witness the historic event.

With excitement reaching a crescendo over tomorrow’s India-Sri Lanka cricket World Cup final in
Mumbai, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today sent his good wishes to the ‘Men in Blue’.
Manmohan Singh was talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function at the Rashtrapati Bhavan at which President Pratibha Devisingh Patil gave away Padma awards.
