Popular but still
forbidden
  Durian is one of the
most popular fruits in South-East Asia. But the authorities do not
allow this fruit to be taken to many public places like hotels,
airports, buses, trains etc in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. This
is because this fruit has a very strong and pungent smell which many
people may find repulsive.
