New Delhi, November 20
Four persons working with liquor baron Ponty Chadha were arrested today for alleged trespass on the Chadhas’ Chhatarpur “parental” farmhouse on Saturday. The farmhouse was in possession of Ponty’s younger brother Hardeep and was the scene of a bloody gunbattle that ended with the killing of the two brothers.

The four were identified as Uday Raj Singh (44), Ponty’s personal security officer (PSO); Bhupinder Singh Bisht, his protocol manager; Rajpal (36), PSO of Ponty’s daughter; and Anand Singh Bisht, his driver.

“They had fired into the air as they trespassed,” a senior Delhi Police officer said adding that six persons had so far been arrested in the case.

Two persons — Madan Rana and Vijay, alias Malik, working with Ponty — were arrested yesterday for alleged trespass on another farmhouse at Bijwasan in Delhi. Hardeep was reportedly in possession of this property.

The police has so far registered three FIRs in the case.

The police today said one of its PCR vans was sent to the Chhatarpur farmhouse after it received a call about a fight but left soon after as it could not detect any unusual activity.

Joint Commissioner of Police (South-West) Vivek Gogia said the call was made after Ponty’s men had trespassed on the two farmhouses. Hardeep learned about the trespass, which occurred between 11 and 11.30 am, at the two locations and reached the Chhatarpur farmhouse from Noida. A call was made to the police from the Chhatarpur farmhouse at 11.50 am.

“The PCR van reached the scene within five minutes (11.55 am). They spoke to some locals there but didn’t find anyting unusual,” Gogia said.

A four-member team of doctors from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences today visited the crime scene, as asked by the police. The hospital will submit the postmortem report tomorrow.
