A National Council of Science Museums employee cleans photographs of legendary music directors and singers at the National Museum of Indian Cinema (NMIC) in Mumbai. In its centenary year, the Indian film industry is opening its doors to attract tourists. A museum, which will showcase the history of Indian film from regional to mainstream Bollywood fare, is set to open soon in Mumbai. Funded by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, the National Museum of Indian Cinema (NMIC) is expected to feature a treasure trove of Indian cinema memorabilia such as vintage 1920s cameras, posters and other such rarities.
