People demand death penalty for accused in Badaun gang-rape New Delhi/ Budaun/Mumbai, June 1 (ANI): People of India demanded death penalty for accused in Badaun case in which two teenage girls were raped and hanged from a tree. Local police said a post-mortem confirmed that the girls, from the Dalit community, had been raped and died from the hanging. Three men - one a policeman - have been arrested over the attack and a search is under way for two other suspects.

Sheikh Hasina hopes to resolve issues with India during Modiís Bangladesh visit Dhaka, June 1 (ANI): Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit the country and hoped to solve problems through strong bilateral talks. Addressing a news conference in Dhaka, Hasina said she is willing to visit India, if required.
