Flag manufacturing business blooms ahead of Independence Day
Coimbatore, Aug 08 (ANI):
Just a few days ahead of the Independence Day celebrations across the country, the tricolour manufacturing business is booming in Coimbatore. Last year, over two lakh cotton flags were produced and this year, with a new government at the centre, the manufacturers have produced over three lakh flags.

Doctors treat students for respiratory problems after gas leak in Kerala factory
Kollam, Aug 08 (ANI):
A hospital is treating 80 students from two schools for respiratory problems after they complained of headache, nausea and vomiting following gas leak in a factory Kerala. Students were hospitalised after gas leak at Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited (KMML) factory in Chavara village in Kollam district of Kerala. The admitted students, from nearby Chavara Government Girls Higher Secondary School and a government college, suffered breathing problems and were vomiting after going to school.

UP cops book 9-year-old boy for ‘disturbing law and order’; politicos react
New Delhi, Aug 8 (ANI):
The UP police have once again sparked another controversy by booking a Class III student, all of nine years, under sections 107/116 of CRPC for "disturbing the law and order" situation in his village. Questioning the law and order situation in the state politicos condemned the authorities as well as the UP government.

Politicos take dig at Congress as it demands leadership role for Priyanka Gandhi

Politicos on Friday took a dig at the Congress party amid growing indication that the party now wants a larger role for Priyanka Gandhi in party affairs. It is being said that the Congress now wants Priyanka Vadra to assume a “leadership role”.
