Sushma Swaraj talks about “Act East Policy” in Vietnam Vietnam, Aug 25 (ANI): Foreign Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, said in Vietnam that it is time to replace India’s “Look East policy” with “Act East Policy.” She also stressed upon the fact that amongst eastern neighbours of India, Vietnam is categorically ahead. Swaraj also said that people have high expectations from the BJP, and that it will not disappoint them. She also spoke about the healthy trade and investment relations that India has with Vietnam. New areas are now opening. Both countries have good defense, security and agriculture cooperation.
Villagers along Indo-Pak border under constant threat as ceasefire violations continue
Jammu, Aug 25 (ANI): As the ceasefire violations by Pakistan continues along the Indo-Pak international border, villagers in Kashmir live under constant fear and shadow of death. Pakistan army continued to violate the ceasefire on the Indian border in the intervening night of August 24 and August 25 in the RS Pura area of Jammu district. Villagers in the bordering areas say that are moving out of the area due to constant threat to their lives.
AAP protests outside Health Minister's residence against AIIMS CVO removal New Delhi, Aug 25 (ANI): Aam Admi Party workers on Monday protested outside Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan's residence against AIIMS CVO removal. The protesters demanded that the Health Minister should justify his act of removing the CVO Sanjiv Chaturvedi from his post. They also demanded a transparency in the work of the leaders.
