n In all, 80 people, including 13 relatives, who came in contact of 50-year-old Jind victim have been traced.

n The man from Pega village of Jind district died at the Agroha Civil Hospital on Wednesday night.

n Jind Civil Surgeon Dr Jai Bhagwan Jatan said the man returned from Mumbai on May 10 and visited the local Civil Hospital due to health problems.

n He had lung cancer and was admitted to Hisar’s Jindal Hospital on May 14. His report for Covid came positive on May 18.

n Covid incharge Dr Ramesh Punia said they had traced 65 to 70 contacts, including staff of Jindal Hospital, Sarvodaya Hospital and Aadhar Hospital in Hisar, besides visitors and 13 relatives who met the victim recently.

n They have been isolated and samples taken for Covid-testing. They will be home-quarantined after their sample reports arrive, Dr Punia added. tns
