The two best Test teams currently, India and Australia will meet each other in the final of the World Test Championship 2021-23 at the Kennington Oval in London starting from June 7.

Team India will be coming into the contest after a tiring two months of the Indian Premier League 2023. Ajinkya Rahane has earned himself a Test call-up due to his good recent performance and will be expected to be a part of the playing XI in the finals.

The team will miss the services of several big names like Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, and KL Rahul, who have been the reason for the team's success in the last few years and will be missing out due to injuries. India have won ten out of 18 games in WTC 2021-23, while they have lost five games and three matches ended in a draw.

Australia, on the other hand, will be coming fresh in the contest; other than David Warner, Josh Hazlewood and Cameron Green, none of the Australian players who are part of the WTC finals squad took part in Indian Premier League 2023. Australia will be missing the services of their mainstay bowler, Josh Hazlewood, due to injury. Scott Boland is expected to play in the eleven and would be one of the bowlers to watch out for.
