Gujarat Titans pacer Yash Dayal's official Instagram account has been hacked. Dayal hit the headlines earlier this day after fans noticed a controversial Instagram story on his profile that related to a certain community. However, the post was later taken down and he issued an apology for the same.

Despite removing the story, he has been trending on Twitter after the controversial content was posted on his account. However, the pacer released a statement in which he claimed that someone else accessed his account. The 25-year-old further stated that he had reported the matter to the authorities, adding that he respects all communities and that the pictures shared on his account do not reflect his actual beliefs.

"Dear All, There were two stories posted on my Insta handle today- both of which weren't done by me. I have reported the matter to authorities as I believe my account is being accessed by someone else and used for posting. I am trying to regain full control of my Instagram account. I respect all communities and the picture shared today does not reveal my true beliefs. Thank You, Yash Dayal," the cricketer clarified.
