Football training centre launched

JALANDHAR: Bhaichung Bhutia Football School (BBFS) has opened its first training centre here in partnership with Apeejay School. Children in the age group of 5 to 15-yr will be imparted traing under a structured curriculum set by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) as part of the Academy Accreditation Process.

Bhaichung Bhutia Football School (BBFS) has opened its first training centre here in partnership with Apeejay School. Children in the age group of 5 to 15-yr will be imparted traing under a structured curriculum set by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) as part of the Academy Accreditation Process.

BBFS has training centres in Delhi NCR, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Bangalore and Mumbai and set up development squads by holding camps.

Bhaichung Bhutia said, “We are looking forward to share our methodology with budding footballers here. We want to promote football culture in the region. The BBFS’s education programme for coaches will focus on training local individuals to take up the responsibility of training the kids.”  — TNS
