DAV girls shine in judo tourney

Ludhiana, December 7

Girl judo players of DAV Public School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, proved their mettle in the DAV National Sports held at DAV Centenary Public School, Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh from December 4 to 6.

Prabhsimran Kaur, Shubhneen Gill and Panvi Sehgal represented Punjab Zone in these games wherein they finished among position holders in different weight categories.

Prabhsimran bagged the silver medal in the under 57 kg weight category whereas Shubhneen claimed bronze medal in the 63 kg weight section.

Panvi Sehgal got the bronze medal in the 52 kg weight category.

Jaswinder Kaur Sidhu, Principal of DAV Public School, BRS Nagar branch, congratulated the winners. She also appreciated the efforts of Coach Amandeep Singh in guiding the students.
