Chandigarh: Around 400 students of Primary Wing (I-V) of the school in Sector 38, Chandigarh participated in Annual Athletics Meet. The guests were greeted with a welcome song and release of colourful balloons. The young performers of class I & II exhibited their co-ordination through Hoop Drill. Girls of classes III to V displayed their flexibility through Fusion drill. The young girls of classes III to V won the hearts of all present with Saree drill. Parents applauded and motivated the children as they took part in various races like Obstacle Race, Tree Race, Saucer & Pyramid jump race, Turn and Catch Race and Sack Race. Children also participated in fun games like frog on the leaf, Bean Bag Balancing, Turning Twisting & Rolling enthralled the audience. The parents also participated enthusiastically in fun games much to the delight of everyone. The winners were awarded medals and prizes.

Satluj Public, Panchkula

Satluj Public School, Sec 4, Panchkula tops in Panchkula District Child Welfare Competitions by winning maximum prizes. The school bagged first position in Group Dance. In Face Painting, Niharika got first prize and in Kalash/ Thali Decoration, Charu got first prize. In Poster Making, Mehar Juneja , Sonam and Sanjeev Singh Rawat won in various groups. Anjali stood first and Nancy Dutt got Consolation in Solo Song. Raspreeti and Priyanka bagged second prize in Rangoli. Rohit came second in card making while Nirjala bagged second prize in diya/candle making. In Declamation, Arijit Kundu; Sneha Sheoran and Ananya bagged prizes in different categories while in Sketching: Harshit Verma and Daisy won prizes. Manasvi and Mokshda were second and third respectively in Best Dramebaaz. In Clay Modelling, Aastha Dhalta got Consolation while in Solo Dance: Yakshi and Ojal were second; Anandini got Consolation. 

The Knowledge Bus  School, Kharar

The Knowledge  Bus  School organised workshop on importance of exercise and morning walk .Tiny tots  and their parents participated in the event .The aim of the workshop was to aware students as well as parents to bring lifestyle change in today’s ‘s technology driven children and break into their sedentary lifestyle . Various activities like Yoga , aerobics ,PT drill, exercise ,jogging ,skipping ,music ,rhymes and songs were also organised

Delhi Public School, Chandigarh

The students of classes VIII and IX of  Delhi Public School, Chandigarh participated enthusiastically in the tree plantation  drive. A team of 40 students planted a 120 trees in Sector 42, Chandigarh. The students planted saplings of Gulmohar, Amla, Bottlebrush, Pukhan, Bahera, Putrajiva, Jamun, Neem, Guava, Mango, Shehtoot and Banyan trees. The initiative aims to sensitize both the students and the residents towards the importance of trees in maintaining the ecological balance.

The British School, Panchkula

A winter vegetable activity was conducted at The British School, Sector-8 Panchkula to welcome the onset of winters and to bring awareness about the health and nutrition factor of the vegetables that grow in this season. The children were made aware of the names of the winter fruits and vegetables and how these make us healthy and strong. The school director Mr. Sanjay Sethi applauded the efforts of school educators

Public School Sec 40-C Chandigarh held an Inter House Quiz Contest 'Node Cerebri Brain Twister' for VI to VIII classes in its premises with the objective of inculcating Mathematical, logical and reasoning skills and boost confidence level of the students..
