The Haryana Government has declared holidays in all anganwadi centres in the state from December 25 to 31 keeping in view the severe cold conditions.



Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has declared holidays in all anganwadi centres in the state from December 25 to 31 keeping in view the severe cold conditions. Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Kavita Jain said children between 0-6 years come to anganwadis and the severe cold weather may affect their health adversely.

Online service for entrepreneurs

Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Capt Abhimanyu will launch the first online service for filling of entrepreneurs’ memorandum part-I and II by micro, small and medium enterprises from New Delhi on Thursday. Online service will facilitate entrepreneurs for filling entrepreneurs’ memorandum through anytime-anywhere without any hassle. Entrepreneurs have to register only once on the industry portal www.haryanaindustries.gov.in to avail of online service. TNS

Clean water directive

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij has asked the Chief Secretary to direct all departments to ensure cleanliness of all resources of drinking water within their jurisdiction, otherwise the head of departments would be held accountable. Vij said the potable water was being supplied to all public places and establishments, but water tanks were not kept clean. TNS

Khattar on Bharat Ratna

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has thanked the Union Government for awarding “Bharat Ratna”, the country's highest civilian award to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya and Atal BihariVajpayee.
