Addressing the meeting, Geja Ram said family members of the safai employees who died while on duty would be given jobs on compassionate grounds very shortly. He advised the officials of the municipal councils not to retire the safai sewaks till they were not given pension benefits. Sewerage kits were distributed among the sewer men on the occasion.

The Sub-Divisional Magistratre, Surinder Singh, Harcharnjit Kaur, Chairperson, Zila Parishad, Executive Officers (EOs) of the municipal councils of the district, officials of other departments too were present at the meeting. Representatives of safai karamcharis too attended the meeting.
