Aspirants, being trained under “Mission Sunehri”, will appear in the work placement camp to be held on August 16.
Inviting the unemployed youth to prepare for upcoming employment opportunities, Deputy Commissioner Harpreet Singh Sudan said the main objective of this 10-day course was to prepare Class XII and graduate unemployed youth for employment in the private sector as custom care executive, sales executive and other office jobs. The 10-day course started here yesterday.
Experts will teach them communication, soft skills, spoken English, usage and other topics so that they can easily get a job in different companies between Rs 10,000 and Rs 35,000 per month. The government’s skill development and training department will impart free of cost special training to empower youth.
Vikramjeet, head of the District Employment Bureau, said, “A target has been set to provide employment opportunities to 1,000 youths across the state on attractive salaries under Mission Sunehri”.
He said after this 10-day training, placement work will be started for these aspirants from August 16. He invited Class XII graduate pass youth of the district to attend the training course to make the most of this opportunity. In this, aspirants will be given detailed information about working in the BPO industry.
