10% rebate on property tax till Sept 30

AMRITSAR: With the last date for availing of a 10 % rebate in property tax just 18 days away (on September 30), the Municipal Corporation has started organising camps to motivate the public to deposit the same soon.

With the last date for availing of a 10 % rebate in property tax just 18 days away (on September 30), the Municipal Corporation has started organising camps to motivate the public to deposit the same soon. The MC has offered a 10 per cent rebate on the property tax to the public, who will pay the tax for the current financial year till September 30.

For the tax payers’ convenience, the property tax wing will organize tax collection camps at 48 various places in the city till September 28. The camps are being organised by the superintendent of the property tax wing with the help of the local councillor.

Nitish Singla, Joint commissioner, MC, issued the instructions to the zonal superintendents to make arrangements for camps. Singla asked the officials to get the area councillor’s help and before organising the camp advertise about the rebate offer in that particular area.
