The Bhikhiwind police have booked 17 persons, including Satnam Singh and his son Gurpreet Singh, in connection with a firing incident at Mari Nau Abad village, 40 km from here.
The incident took place a week ago.
The police had registered a case on the statement of Gurpreet Singh of the same village.
Gurpreet said the accused had been harassing his brother and fired outside his residence.
They threatened to kill him, Gurpreet charged. The accused have been booked under Sections 336, 506, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The police said the accused would be arrested at the earliest.
