6-day Kashmiri Youth Exchange Programme ends in Tarn Taran

The six-day Kashmiri Youth Exchange Programme — a joint initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, organised under the MY Bharat initiative at the Youth Hostel here — concluded on Monday.

As many as 120 participants from various parts of Kashmir — Baramulla, Kupwara, Budgam, Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag — participated in the event, under the supervision of the Deputy Director Jasleen Kaur.

DSP S Kamaljit Singh was the chief guest at the closing ceremony, which commenced with a warm welcome of the dignitaries by Programme Supervisor Sadhu Ram Salgotra.

Kaur highlighted key activities, learning experiences, and cultural exposure provided to the participants during the programme.

The ceremony featured vibrant cultural performances by the participants, followed by experience-sharing sessions.

Awards and certificates were distributed among participants, recognising their active participation and achievements during the programme.

The DSP exhorted the youth to remain committed to the values of unity, discipline, and national integration. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Deputy Director.
