AMRITSAR: After the bomb blast at Nirankari Bhawan in Adaliwal village near Shri Guru Ramdas Jee International Airport, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) beefed up the security arrangements at the airport.

After the bomb blast at Nirankari Bhawan in Adaliwal village near Shri Guru Ramdas Jee International Airport, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) beefed up the security arrangements at the airport.

Immediately after the blast, the security forces evacuated the parking area and sealed the visitors’ gallery. Only passengers were allowed to enter the airport building.

Dharamvir Yadav, Commandant, Central Industrial Security Force, Amritsar unit, said that following the red alert, the CISF immediately made foolproof arrangement at all level.

The city police also deployed cops around the airport after the blast.
