Two days after 104 illegal Indian immigrants were deported by the US authorities on Wednesday, the Amritsar Rural Police have booked a fake travel agent, Satnam Singh, on charges of cheating.

Daler Singh, a resident of Salempura village in Amritsar’s Rajasansi, lodged a complaint with the police.

He is one of the illegal immigrants who was deported by the US. In his complaint, Daler alleged that Satnam promised to send him to the US on a valid visa but instead sent him illegally. He had to endure hardships like passing through treacherous trails in the Panama Jungles.

Daler was forced to cross the US border, where he was captured by the US Border Patrol and detained on January 15.
