The department of architecture won the overall championship trophy of the four-day inter-departmental competition ‘Jashan-2019’ at Guru Nanak Dev University here on Sunday. Prof Geeta Hundal, convener gave a detailed report on ‘Jashan 2019’.
A large number of student-artists from various departments took part in the festival. The department of architecture lifted the overall championship of ‘Golden Jubilee Jashan-2019’ while student of the electronics and communication department got the second spot in the four-day contest. Computer engineering and technology department students got the third position. Cardiologist HP Singh, Medical Director of Fortis Escorts Hospital, was the chief guest. Prof SS Behl, dean, students’ welfare, welcomed the chief guest and others.
