Amritsar: Under Officer Yash Sharma of NCC Army Wing, DAV College, has been selected in the Indian Air Force. He will assume the rank of Flying Officer after a training of one and a half year at Hyderabad, Sikanderabad and Belgaon. Yash was among the six candidates, who qualified the Air Force Common Aptitude Test and were selected out of 300 candidates by Air Force Selection Board after following a rigorous screening and selection process. Principal Amardeep Gupta congratulated him on his achievement. He also congratulated Captain Kamal Kishore and CTO Punit Sharma on providing guidance and support to him. Yash is a third year NCC cadet in the NCC Army Wing.

Amritsar: Pushpinder Walia, principal of BBK DAV College for Women, was honoured by Amarjit Singh, senior field officer, Indian Red Cross Society (Punjab State Branch-Chandigarh) for her exemplary and exceptional community service during the national inter-state junior red cross training-cum-study camp under National Youth Exchange Programme. Principal Pushpinder Walia thanked Shivdular Singh Dhillon, secretary-cum-chief executive, Punjab State Red Cross, and Amarjit Singh, senior field officer, for acknowledging her efforts and dedicated this achievement to the entire BBK family. Conclave dwells on HR strategies

Jalandhar: The CT Group organised an HR Conclave bringing together prominent corporate figures to discuss innovative HR strategies and the future of workforce management. The HR Conclave was attended by Ashwani Victor, Director, Victor Forgings, and Simerjeet Singh, motivational speaker and corporate trainer. Their thought-provoking discussions set the tone for the event, offering attendees unique perspectives on leadership, motivation and workforce development.
