The upgrade work on the Delhi-Ambala section is set to affect the schedule of some of the trains. Northern Railway’s Delhi Division will enforce the railway traffic block at Taraori station on the Delhi-Ambala section as the non-interlocking work will start from September 23.
The Amritsar-New Delhi (12460/12459) Intercity Express will remain cancelled on that day. The Nanded-Amritsar Sachkhand Express (12715) train will be regulated for 100 minutes en route on September 22. The Delhi-Pathankot Superfast Express (22429) will be diverted via Rohtak-Jakhal-Dhuri-Ludhiana on September 23.
The Pathankot-Delhi Superfast Express (22430) will be diverted through Dhuri-Jakhal-Rohtak on September 22. The Amritsar-Katihar Express (15708) will be diverted via Ambala-Saharanpur-Meerut-Khurja on September 23.
The Amritsar-Bandra Terminus Pashchim Express (12926) will run through Ambala-Saharanpur-Meerut-New Delhi on September 23.
