Two-wheeler riders were exhorted not to commute with more than one pillion rider, and to avoid driving recklessly, especially in foggy conditions.

Residents were also told about the importance of helpline numbers 112, 1033 and 1930. Commuters were told to obey traffic signals, signage, and speed limits; avoid distractions such as using mobile phones; wear seat belts and helmets; maintain safe distances; and carry valid documents.

The SSP said such seminars would become a regular feature for the area in future.
