Tarn Taran District Election Observer takes stock of strongroom security
Zila Parishad & Block Samiti polls
Lovejit Kalsi, the District Election Observer for the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections in the district, has visited various strongrooms and counting centres to take stock of security arrangements.
Kalsi expressed her satisfaction over the security arrangements at all locations.
The strongrooms, which hold ballot boxes, had been sealed in the presence of the candidates.
The District Election Observer said the boxes had been kept under strict surveillance.
The counting of votes is set to be conducted on December 17. Tarn Taran SDM Gurmeet Singh was among those present during the inspection.
