Dr KK Talwar to deliver keynote address at AMACON

The annual medical conference, themed, "From Basic to Latest", aims to bring together leading experts and practitioners to share knowledge, research and clinical experience across multiple medical disciplines.
Addressing a press conference, Dr Ashok Uppal, president of the association, said that AMACON has evolved into a vital platform for doctors to exchange scientific ideas and discuss the latest innovations in healthcare. "Every session this year has been designed around evidence, innovation and real-world case studies to make learning more interactive and enriching," he said.
The conference will feature sessions covering a wide range of medical specialties including Medicine, Paediatrics, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, ENT, Dental, Urology, Gynaecology, Haematology, Radiology and Psychiatry.
Special thematic sessions will also address critical contemporary issues such as Sepsis Management, Air Pollution and Brain Health, Reproductive Medicine, Rheumatology, Medical Diagnostics and Surrogacy.
Highlighting another key attraction, Dr Uppal announced that the Dr Santosh Uppal Heart Foundation Oration will feature Padma Bhushan awardee Dr KK Talwar, who will deliver the keynote lecture on heart failure.
The event will also celebrate excellence in the medical fraternity through the AMA Awards, which include the Lifetime Achievement Award and Young Achiever Award, recognising outstanding service and innovation in the field of medicine.
Dr Raman Chatrath and Dr Veena Chatrath informed that pre-conference workshops will be organised on November 14-15, focusing on ACLS, BLS and Basic Ventilation, Gastroenterology (Live Workshop), Critical Care and Movement Disorders.
Organising Committee members Dr BC Sarin, Dr Jagdish Goswami, Dr Salil Uppal, Dr Shikhil Uppal, Dr Rahul Arora, Dr Prahlad Duggal and Dr Heer, along with other team members, shared detailed plans of the upcoming event during the media interaction.
