Drug peddler nabbed

Acting on a tip-off, CIA staff personnel have nabbed a notorious drug peddler, identified as Ravi Kumar, alias Ravi, of Gujjarpura. The police confiscated 500 intoxicating tablets from his possession.

During interrogation, he revealed that he brought the intoxicants from Rishu Kumar of Gilwali Gate and scooter that he was driving also belonged to him. Police authorities, in a statement issued here on Wednesday, claimed that residents of Gujjapura had given a complaint against Ravi Kumar that he had been involved in drug peddling. His mother was also involved in the drug trafficking, it is alleged. — TNS
