Farmer labourer committee names village-level unit office-bearers in Tarn Taran

The Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee recently held a village-level meeting at Shahabpur-Dial in Tarn Taran to name officer-bearers, and discuss the panel’s demands.

Sukhwinder Singh Dugalwala, president, zone committee, and Baljinder Singh Sheron, general secretary, zone branch, presided over the meeting.

Dugalwala noted that women members, too, participated in the meeting.

He said Sukhdev Singh was elected the president of the village-level unit, while Avtar Singh was selected as the treasurer, Mahinder Singh the secretary, Harjit Singh the senior-vice-president, and Balkar Singh the deputy treasurer.

The 21-member village committee comprises five persons each from the women and ‘mazdoor’ (labourer) sections.
