SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur has asked for cooperation from pilgrims to curb the Covid spread.

Amritsar, May 7

Due to the second wave of Covid-19, it has now been made mandatory for pilgrims visiting the Golden Temple and other gurdwaras to follow preventive guidelines of the Health Department under which they have to wear masks, keep physical distance and sanitise their hands.

SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur has asked for cooperation from pilgrims to curb the Covid spread. In another decision, she directed operating the SGPC offices with 50 per cent staff. “The SGPC offices will remain completely closed on Saturday and Sunday,” she said. — TNS
