She had been named in a murder case involving gangster Gurpreet Singh alias Gora Bariar by the Batala police a few days prior.

A murder case had already been registered against her, and a Lookout Circular (LOC) had been issued to prevent her from fleeing the country.

It is worth mentioning that a few weeks ago, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria’s mother, Harjeet Kaur, and his relative, Karmveer Singh, were shot dead.

On Monday night, Lovjit Kaur arrived at the Amritsar airport and was waiting to board a flight to Australia when alert airport authorities identified her based on the LOC and immediately informed the police. She was taken into custody and handed over to the Batala police.

The police are now interrogating her to uncover her possible role in the recent murders and her connection with other accused individuals. Authorities are expected to produce her in court soon and seek remand for further investigation.
