The Municipal Corporation (MC) has set up new dustbins alongside roads before the arrival of a Central Government team for awarding cleanliness ranking.
Separate bins for non-biodegradable and biodegradable waste have been installed for segregation of garbage. The MC would also identify the spots to install the smart bins from where garbage would be taken to an underground pit.
Meanwhile, the solid waste management firm did not distribute green and blue bins among the households till date. The company has been collecting the garbage from door to door. Residents are appreciating the efforts of the MC.
