Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has come up with the GNDU Golden Jubilee Foundation for entrepreneurship and innovation. The foundation is part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the university. This foundation will cater to experts, offer undergraduate course, skill-based courses and advance courses. Rs 15 crore will be invested under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) grant received by the institute.
The foundation is meant for providing specialised courses, skill-based programs, short-term courses for professionals among others. A separate building will also come for the functioning of the foundation, with specialized faculty. Admission mode of each subject will be different depending upon the type of course. — TNS
