AMRITSAR: Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), in association with the state government, will to organise a boot camp at the university as a part of Startup India Punjab Yatra to be organised from January 16 to 31.

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), in association with the state government, will to organise a boot camp at the university as a part of Startup India Punjab Yatra to be organised from January 16 to 31. A mega camp will be held at the university on January 24 to promote Startups by holding ideation workshops and idea pitching session. Ideas from students will be shortlisted at the boot camp and these will be pitched at the grand finale for incubation offers and incentive by resource partners.

Dr PK Pati, president, IIC, and nodal officer of the event, said that around 250 participants from several colleges and institutions were expected to participate in the camp to be held at Sri Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan of the university. He appealed to the aspiring youngsters to participate wholeheartedly. He further said that the camp would provide a platform to budding entrepreneurs so that they could fulfil their Startup dreams. The students who wish to attend this event or want to pitch an idea must apply online through https://www.startupindia.gov.in/content/sih/en/EventsCompetitions/startup_india_yatra/startup-Punjab-yatra.html. On-the-spot registration would start on January 24 at 9.30 am at Sri Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan, GNDU.
