Gurpreet Singh appointed Police Observer for Zila Parishad & Block Samiti polls in Tarn Taran

The Punjab State Election Commission has appointed Gurpreet Singh, IPS, as the Police Observer for Tarn Taran district for the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections. Gurpreet Singh arrived in Tarn Taran today to supervise security arrangements during the elections, ensuring that the entire process is conducted in a peaceful, fair and free manner.

He reviewed the security measures implemented by the police department for the Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections and issued necessary guidelines to the officers.
