The estate wing of the MC has removed a kiosk from Ranjit Avenue after receiving a complaint. The encroacher had constructed a temporary shop on the footpath.
Estate Officer Sushant Bhatia said, “As per the orders of Municipal Commissioner Harbir Singh, the estate office has removed the illegal kisok installed in A Block Ranjit Avenue.”
Intensifying the anti-encroachment drive, the estate wing also addressed the complaints at Ranjit Avenue A block market, Chheharta Chowk to India Gate under the supervision of JA Surinder Sharma and Paramjit Singh.
Sushant Bhatia said the MC would not tolerate any encroachment on footpath, hinder the movement of pedestrians or commuters.
