Immoral behaviour: Godman booked

AMRITSAR: A self-styled godman was booked for hurting religious sentiments after a video went viral. The accused has been identified as Pawan Kumar, a resident of Adarsh Nagar in Kot Khalsa area. Sunil Arora, the complainant in the case, said the accused owned a temple in his house.  On April 13, the accused was found engaged in an indecent act. A video of the incident went viral. The complainant alleged that the accused Pawan Kumar had hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. A case under section 295 of the IPC has been registered in this regard. No arrests have been made so far. TNS

One held with .315 bore pistol 

Tarn Taran: Jaspreet Singh of Dasuwal village, 35 kms from here, has been arrested by a team of the Patti Sadar police with a .315 bore country-made pistol and a live cartridge. Sub-inspector Lakhwinder Singh said a case under section 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused. OC
