The Hindi Olympiad Foundation recently organised the International Hindi Olympiad-2025 Award Ceremony in New Delhi, where participating teachers were honoured with the Amrit Kumbh Recognition Award-2025 for composing poetry.

Kanchan Chopra, a Hindi teacher at Guru Amar Das Public School, Goindwal Sahib, was honoured for her poem, ‘Desh di Mitti’ (soil of the nation).

Chopra was not only lauded by the panel of judges, but also by the other participating teachers for her unique poetic style.

She was honoured by Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta and NITI Aayog Member Dr Vijay Kumar Saraswat.

School director Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa and principal Manisha Sood said Chopra’s accomplishment had brought honour not only to the institution, but to the entire region.
