Amritsar, January 12
An ITBPjawan died after his rifle accidentally went off here today. Identified as Veer Singh, he was a resident of Jhansi in Madhya Pradesh.
He was cleaning his rifle at the Mall Mandi office when the incident took place, the police said. The bullet pierced into his forehead, killing him on the spot. After getting conducted postmortem, the body was released to be taken to Jhansi. — TNS
