Baba Sukha Singh, head of the Kar Sewa sect at Sarhali Sahib, inaugurated the Sri Guru Amardas Charitable Dispensary on the holy land of Goindwal Sahib on Wednesday.

Baba Hakam Singh, head of Sewa, presided over the occasion. Following the recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib, a Diwan was held, in which Kirtaniyas and Kathawachaks of the Guru Ghar delighted the Sangat by reciting Har Jass.

During the event, Singh Sahib Giani Prem Singh Ji, Chief Ardasian of Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, shared Gurmat thoughts. A large gathering of Sangat attended, and after the Ardas, Guru Ke Langar was served in abundance.

Speaking on the occasion, Sant Baba Sukha Singh Ji said, “There was a long-standing demand from the Sangat of the Goindwal Sahib area for a dispensary. With the grace of the Gurus and the cooperation of the Sangat, today this dispensary has been inaugurated in the holy presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Here, the Sangat will receive basic health facilities, and all laboratory tests will be available at a cost-effective rate. Soon, this dispensary will be converted into a hospital so that needy patients can access all kinds of treatment.”
