A married youth identified as Manga (25), resident of Makhanwindi village, was killed by several persons of the same village, when he tried to save his mother here on Friday. He succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital here on Sunday.
The police have booked five persons in this connection while no arrest has been made so far. Those booked were identified as Sukhdev Singh, Mukhtiyar Singh, Sonu, Polish and Vijay, all residents of the same village.
Aman, wife of the deceased, told the police that on Friday morning, her husband was at home, when he came to know that the suspects were thrashing his mother.
