Tarn Taran: A nagar kirtan procession to mark the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur was organised by various religious organisations of the area under the assistance of Dharwinder Singh, manager, local Sri Darbar Sahib. The procession commenced from Gurdwara Guru Ka Mahal here. Under the patronage of Guru Granth Sahib, Panj Pyaras led the procession which was largely attended by Sikhs of the area villages. The procession was welcomed by devotees at each point and people had made arrangements for langar etc. on the way for participants. The organisers were honoured with ‘siropa’ by the manager at the time of departure of the procession. — OC
