Medical officers honour mothers in Tarn Taran on Monday.

The newborn girls and their mothers were honoured by the Health Department at the Tarn Taran Civil Hospital.

Civil Surgeon Dr Gurpreet Singh Rai said women have attained top position in every field, including sports, armed forces, engineering and politics. District Family Welfare Officer Dr Satwider Bhagat and District Health Officer Dr Sukhbir Kaur urged the mothers to take special care of their daughters.
