District Education Officer (Secondary) Salwinder Singh Samra inspected the paper marking centre at GSSS, Town Hall, on Saturday.
The papers of English, Punjabi and Political Science are being checked by teachers under the supervision of Principal Balwinder Singh.
Samra crosschecked a few marked papers and found no objection. The Class X and XII examinations are being going on. Meanwhile, in order to beat the English exam stress that is to be held on Monday, more than 100 schools held extra classes for Class X students. “Teachers are very hopeful about getting excellent results,” the DEO said. — TNS
