Environment Minister Om Prakash Soni has announced that a beautiful park will replace the garbage dump site on the Chabal road.

While inaugurating a newly-constructed building of the government hospital in Fatehpur village, which falls in his Central constituency, he said,” The 10-acre park will act as a green lung for the city. To remove garbage from the site, the work is under progress.”

He also said the hospital would start working tomorrow and the patients would be given free of cost medicines. The government high school of the village would be elevated to senior secondary and all posts of teachers would be filled, he added.

He directed officials of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) to install more electric transformers in the village to provide full power supply. He also directed the concerned staff to install street lights in the village.
