Preparations in full swing for RMPI’s rally at Jandiala Guru on March 29
The meetings witnessed active participation from local residents and leaders
The Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) has started preparations for the rally scheduled to be held at Jandiala Guru on March 29, with a series of village-level meetings being organised across the region.
Meetings were conducted in villages, including Dyal Bhatti, Bhoore Gill, Makowal, and Mohan Bhandari on Thursday, under the leadership of Dr Satnam Singh Ajnala, representing the Joint Platform of Mass Organisations (JPMO), and Jagga Singh Dalla, president of the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Naujawan Sabha.
The meetings witnessed active participation from local residents and leaders. In Dyal Bhatti, the gathering was led by sarpanch Hardyal Singh, in Bhoore Gill by Surjit Singh and Baltej Singh of Dyalpura, in Makowal by Gurbhej Singh, and in Mohan Bhandari by Jaswinder Singh and Kuldeep Singh.
Addressing the gatherings, Dr Ajnala, Jagga Singh Dalla, and noted singer and activist Gurpal Gill of Saidpur spoke about global conflicts and called for unity against imperialist forces. They alleged that powerful nations were engaged in a war to control resources, leading to loss of innocent lives, including children.
They urged people to participate in large numbers in the March 29 rally at Jandiala Guru to raise their voice against war and imperialism.
