PSEB: No case of cheating reported

AMRITSAR: As many as 13 flying squad teams inspected 48 examination centres during the Class X English paper of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) in the morning shift on Monday.

As many as 13 flying squad teams inspected 48 examination centres during the Class X English paper of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) in the morning shift on Monday. Sudeep Kaur, district science supervisor-cum-nodal officer, said, “No case of cheating has been reported from any examination centre. Chairman of the PSEB Manohar Kant Kalohia also checked the centres. He expressed his satisfaction.” “We have been making sure that no cheating takes place during the Class X exams. The students have been prepared well. Extra classes had been taken,” she added.

The district education authorities had also requested language teachers to take extra classes few days before examination. Close to 35,000 students in Class X and around 31, 000 students in Class XII are appearing in the exams. Majority of the students found the examination easy. Smile, a Class X student, said, “Grammar portion was little bit difficult otherwise the paper was good.”
